Matthew J. Cordio Returns as Chief Executive Officer of MedServe

Strategic Leadership Realignment Positions Medication Management Company for Continued Success and Next Phase of Growth

MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN – November 17, 2025 – MedServe, a leading provider of medication management solutions for non-acute healthcare settings, today announced a strategic realignment of its executive leadership team. President and Chairman Matthew J. Cordio will return to the role of Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Alexander Yampolsky, PharmD, who has served as CEO since 2023, has been appointed to the newly created position of Chief Clinical Officer, reflecting MedServe’s continued commitment to clinical excellence, and innovation in medication management.

This leadership evolution aligns with MedServe’s next phase of growth, following significant traction across health systems, ambulatory surgery centers, and other non-acute care environments. The company continues to expand its presence in the market by delivering technology-enabled solutions that improve patient safety, clinical workflows, and operational efficiency.

“MedServe has achieved meaningful progress under Alex’s leadership, and I’m excited to work alongside him in this new capacity,” said Cordio. “As we scale our operations and deepen our relationships across the healthcare market, this structure allows us to fully leverage both our clinical expertise and operational excellence. Alex’s transition to Chief Clinical Officer ensures we remain anchored in clinical value and outcomes, while I focus on advancing commercial strategy, organizational growth, and market expansion.”

Cordio, who led the group that acquired MedServe in 2021, has previously served as Chief Executive Officer and remains deeply connected to the company’s long-term strategic vision. With firsthand experience guiding MedServe through its early development and market momentum, he is strategically positioned to lead the organization into its next phase of scale and commercial acceleration.

In his new role as Chief Clinical Officer, Yampolsky will lead clinical strategy, product innovation, and evidence-based development to meet the evolving needs of healthcare providers. He will continue to foster partnerships across the healthcare ecosystem, leveraging his clinical expertise and strong industry relationships to advance MedServe’s mission.

“I’m enthusiastic about this evolution,” said Yampolsky. “This role allows me to focus on what I am most passionate about — ensuring our solutions deliver exceptional clinical outcomes and address the real-world challenges healthcare organizations face. Matt’s leadership and strategic vision have been foundational, and I’m confident this structure positions MedServe for long-term success.”

MedServe continues to strengthen its market position through strategic partnerships and enterprise adoption across leading healthcare organizations, building momentum heading into 2026.
