Becker’s ASC Review reports that the license of an anesthesiologist, affiliated with a Wyoming ambulatory surgical center, has been suspended following an investigation into a discrepancy in the number of fentanyl vials in the facility.

Unfortunately, drug diversion is a growing problem in ASCs, MedServe CEO Alex Yampolsky, recently spoke with John Karwoski, Rph of JDJ Pharmacy Consulting about how surgery centers can leverage their staff and technology to prevent drug diversion.
