Position Details:

Location: Remote - United States

Work Location: Work from home; periodic travel to Wisconsin may be required

MedServe has developed an innovative medication management solution to securely store & digitally track controlled substances. MedServe’s comprehensive solution is utilized by hundreds healthcare facilities (surgery centers, dental offices, behavioral health, EMS, veterinary) across the United States for narcotic storage, compliance logging, and inventory management.

As MedServe continues to grow aggressively, the company is focusing on building a strong technical team. We are seeking a detail-oriented senior developer with experience in application development, technology stack R&D, and quality assurance. 

You will work closely with MedServe’s engineering, security, and product teams to deliver a quality software product. We offer competitive compensation and the ability over time to earn stock options and career development opportunities.

Your Role: Senior Developer

Your primary role as a senior developer is to take application requirements and convert them into software features. You will be responsible for a variety of key tasks, including feature analysis, scope definition, development, and quality assurance.

You will be working closely with the rest of the technology team (product owner, security, and engineering) to produce software meeting security and customer requirements. The product owner and security teams will provide requirements from a customer or security perspective that will need to be incorporated into the software platform. Scope documentation for each development task will be created in conjunction with these teams and signed off in order to ensure delivery of a high quality product.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of software development experience

  • Strong background in .NET, Linux, Angular, and GTK

  • Familiarity with security requirements (HIPAA, NIST, SOC II, etc…)

  • Strong background in distributed architectures

  • Solid understanding of Azure and scalability

  • Background in embedded systems

  • Detail-oriented

  • Ability to work as part of a team

  • Familiarity with scrum methodologies and work prioritization

  • Ability to manage workloads independently and self-govern
